Preen & Clean is excited to announce the appointment of Chris Newman as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Chris brings a wealth of operational expertise in building national companies and managing large teams, which will be instrumental as Preen & Clean continues its ambitious expansion across the UK. Chris will initially join the company on a part-time basis and will transition to a full-time role on the board in August 2024.
Co-founder Brandon Lacey emphasised the significance of Chris’s appointment: “From the outset, Rhys and I have acknowledged that we do not have the experience needed to build a national brand. Bringing Chris on board is a strategic move to strengthen our leadership team and guide our growth. His experience will be vital in scaling our operations and navigating the challenges ahead.”
Chris Newman is the third key addition to the management team, joining Craig Heppinstall, Managing Director, and Pete Duncanson, IT Director. In his role as COO, Chris will focus on enhancing internal communications, improving organisational structures, and ensuring all parts of the business work seamlessly together.

Chris will begin his part-time role immediately and will fully join the board in August 2024, further solidifying Preen & Clean’s leadership as the company grows.
